Many of the ideas, values, practices, political views, and even research results that seem important today may, in the future, lose their value or meaning. What appears self-evident and lasting in one moment may later seem fragile, mistaken, or irrelevant.

Legacy<\/strong> reflects on the inheritance passed down from previous generations\u2014ideas, values, knowledge, and structures that shape how we understand the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this legacy forms the foundation of our societies, living with it also requires questioning and reassessing it. The work considers how we depend on the past while continually re-examining it in order to move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resting on the floor, Colors and Relationships<\/strong> directs the viewer\u2019s gaze downward, while a few black stripes rise slightly above the painting\u2019s surface. Inspired by traditional rag rugs made from strips of old clothing, the work reflects on how fragments\u2014colours, materials, and memories\u2014come together to form patterns shaped by time and everyday life.
