Reconciliation (when the wind moves the hair but you don’t notice it) reflects on how reconciliation may approach quietly, almost imperceptibly—like wind moving your hair without you noticing. Its liberating energy may already be present around us, even when it seems impossible in our conscious minds.
The work asks whether painting can make the unconscious visible and reveal the faint vibrations we sense but do not yet fully understand.
The image sections at both ends were created using tools developed by Hannu Töyrylä, based on variations of my earlier paintings.
