Vanished Value 2023, oil painting and pigment print on canvas,
100 x 300 cm and 40 x 120 cm

In the work Vanished Value I reflect on how time can act as a merciless judge.

Many of the ideas, values, practices, political views, and even research results that seem important today may, in the future, lose their value or meaning. What appears self-evident and lasting in one moment may later seem fragile, mistaken, or irrelevant.

Legacy 2024, oil painting and pigment print on canvas,
100 x 300 cm and 40 x 120 cm

Legacy reflects on the inheritance passed down from previous generations—ideas, values, knowledge, and structures that shape how we understand the world.

While this legacy forms the foundation of our societies, living with it also requires questioning and reassessing it. The work considers how we depend on the past while continually re-examining it in order to move forward.

Colours and relationships 2024, oil painting and pigment print on wooden panel
100 x 300 cm

Resting on the floor, Colors and Relationships directs the viewer’s gaze downward, while a few black stripes rise slightly above the painting’s surface. Inspired by traditional rag rugs made from strips of old clothing, the work reflects on how fragments—colours, materials, and memories—come together to form patterns shaped by time and everyday life.
